CANADA INTRODUCES NEW HEAD OF STRATEGIC PARTNERING
AND ALLIANCES RESEARCH

IDC Canada is pleased to announce that Mr.
Dave Martin has joined IDC Canada as Senior
Analyst, Customer Segments and will overlook
the Canadian Strategic Partnering and Alliances
program.
In this role, Mr. Martin will be responsible
for understanding and articulating the go-to-market
strategies involved in the two-way partner
relationships between Canadian vendors and
channel partners.

and experience in channel strategy is already
helping IDC Canada's clients make more informed
decisions about routes to market and techniques
for optimizing partner relations," says

A 10 year veteran of the Canadian IT industry,
Mr. Martin joins IDC with a breadth of experience
building partnerships with a specific focus
on software, hardware and Internet-related
technologies.
Most recently Mr. Martin served Ottawa's Corel
Corporation as a senior product strategy manager,
and was responsible for defining strategic
partnerships and alliances, product development
and routes to market.
